Portsmouth Physiotherapy
at Home

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with service personnel within the Navy. During my work with the Navy I have gained a wide knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and management of a huge variety of conditions. Everything from getting people back on their feet after an operation to identifying and managing more serious pathologies.

Along side this I have been working in the community now for 5 years, I have provided and supported the recovery of  patients in their own homes, I have good relationships with a lot of the local care homes, having provided regular care to their residents.

Portsmouth Physiotherapy at Home has been created to make rehabilitation easy to access. We understand that sometimes patients require treatment in their own home or Care home. This may be because they have had surgery, had a fall or have lost mobility through having been immobile for various other reasons.

If you or someone you are caring for has lost mobility, which may mean they are unable to get out of bed to having difficulty climbing stairs, needs to get back confidence and strength to walk, then I can help.

Your treatment will involve an initial assessment during which your function and strength will be assessed and your goals will be agreed and from this I will discuss a plan of treatment and explain how long and the process by which we will get there. Using a variety of treatment techniques, including joint mobilisation, massage, exercises, acupuncture, chronic pain management.
